We hand blend teas.

We have yarn and roving from our Jacob, Cormo, and CVM/Romeldale sheep and Angora goats. Both natural colors and hand dyed. Pelts, raw fleece, and a few finished products like weighted lap blankets made from our yarn are available. We are a Shave ‘Em To Save ‘Em provider, and will have stickers available.

My niece and I started Huetiful Stitches to share our love of colorful and creative fiber arts. Between the two of us, you never know what we could be up to. She loves spinning yarn for others to enjoy creating something with or making an artful batt for someone else to spin on their own. We both love to knit, I also crochet, quilt, sew and repurpose clothing. We love to dye fabric, yarns, and clothes and are continually learning new skills.

Foster’s Fibers is a woman and LGBTQIA owned business that offers hand dyed, eco-friendly yarn dyed in micro batches in Pittsburgh, PA. All the energy used in the dying process is from local wind energy and all packaging is compostable or recyclable. I use professional grade acid dyes and focus on superwash bases sourced from ethical farms. I like to dye vibrant, bright, and rich colors that will stand out and I love to dye tonals and speckled colorways. I’m a chemist by day, and an indie dyer by night.

Hand dyed linen and cotton yarn/thread as well as naturally dyed wool yarn. I also offer a selection of knitted felted hats of whimsey.

Dusty Tree provides soap & hand-dyed yarns inspired by Nature. My soaps are all palm oil free, plant based and handcrafted in small batches using natural colorants and essential oils. In 2021, I started playing around with soap colorants (micas) and fragrance oils. These soaps are my creative soaps and I usually have a small assortment of these available. I also make a low suds no rinse wool wash that contains lanolin, which is perfect for your hand crafted creations. The yarns I offer are all dyed in micro batches using professional grade acid dyes with many of the bases being non superwash. I like to dye colorways that are more muted and darker in tone so that they can be worked together in projects.

We are a husband and wife yarn dyeing team that get our colorway inspiration from our life experiences and those of our family. Everything from vacations, to college graduations, to the state park near our house may show up in our skeins of yarn.

Ex Libris is a Latin phrase found on bookplates that translates to “From the Library.” Ex Libris Fibers yarns are bookish, moody, and sometimes spooky colors dyed by a former librarian, Rita. Based in Pittsburgh since 2018, Rita translates undershared stories and themes into intricate, layered colorways that might just haunt your dreams.
Each small batch is meticulously dyed by hand in a slow, mindful process using professional acid dyes while prioritizing sustainability. A selection of carefully curated domestic and imported wool yarn bases provides a remarkable palette to stitch favorite stories into treasured projects – or tell a new story of your own.
