The instructor will have fiber bundles that are good for beginning spinners available for purchase for $5. She will also have spindles available to try and purchase. And, of course, there will be lots more options for purchase and oogling of fiber at her booth in the marketplace prior to the class beginning.

Gwen Brown learned to spin on a Turkish drop spindle nearly 10 years ago and found that it has been a life-changing experience. Since then she has established a small dyeing, spinning, and knitting business that takes her to fiber shows throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. In her “free” time, she participates in a medieval recreation group. Her website can be found at gwenerin.com and her booth can be found in the marketplace.
