Kim Dyes Yarn

Kim Dyes Yarn is a RETURNING vendor!

Kim Dyes Yarn is a one woman indie dyer from Virginia. Kim specializes in quality and luxury fiber and yarns for spinning and knitting or crocheting. All are hand dyed in my home studio and the goal is to provide you with a fabulous finished project, from start to finish.

Oink Pigments

Oink Pigments is a RETURNING vendor!

Established in 2010, Oink Pigments is a purveyor of small-batch, hand-dyed yarns in Vista, CA and Indianapolis, IN. Our team (Alexa, Helena, and Julie) is a trio of strong-willed women who love pigs, puns, and purls (and parentheses). We offer 18 different yarn and fiber offerings in over 100 bright and playful colorways, and a whopping 12 of these 18 bases are 100% USA made from sheep to shelf (yes, even the sheep are Americans).

We love our IKS volunteers!  You make this show run smoothly and we’re glad to have you!  If you’d like to volunteer for the Feb 23rd IKS Marketplace, please fill out the form at the following link.  Volunteers are rewarded with special exclusive yarn, fiber and other rewards!
Please fill the form out before February 13th.  Also note that this time we have divided up the day into 4 shifts.  We want you all to have fun so please limit yourself to volunteering for no more than 3 shifts.
Please let us know if you have any questions and thank you again for your help.

Allegheny Fiber Arts

Allegheny Fiber Arts is a NEW vendor!

Allegheny Fiber Arts is a creative collection of fiber and textile arts. I have lived and breathed fiber and textile arts since a young age. I started sewing when I was 8 or 9 and I started spinning when I was 13. I graduated with a BA in fashion design with a minor in Textile Arts. My shop is full of so many techniques I have learned through the years.

I have enjoyed handpainting all of the rovings and yarn in my shop and I also spinning all of the hand spun yarn that you see in my shop. I create all of the beautiful colorways using only Eco friendly dyes. Every skein is unique and one of a kind.

The project bags I have created are a fun and funky combination of fabrics I love in practical designs. I hand select all of the fabrics with color in mind. I love color!!

Our hearts are filled with gratitude after yet another wonderful Indie Knit & Spin! A special thanks goes out to our amazing vendors and volunteers – without them, there would not be Indie Knit & Spin. We are community focused in our stewardship of Indie Knit & Spin – and it was wonderful to see so many diverse members of our fiber arts community yesterday. We look forward to seeing you all again February 23rd, 2019!
